Episode 20 with Adam Shenkman

Listen here!

Another week another episode but this week is no ordinary episode.  Long time friend of Scott and Breakfast Show host Adam Shenkman stops by in an instant classic.  Adam possibly loses his career as a children’s show host as he and Scott squash old beefs and tell stories of their time working on projects together.  Amaya and Carl do a great job moderating and everything ends all happy in hugs.  Adam comes from performance family and can be seen performing his widely acclaimed Breakfast Show to audiences both young and old.  In addition to that he hosts the Adam-O Podcast.  Scott is still a cranky old drunk, Amaya is rational as always and Carl interjects love when needed.  Top notch internet all around.

Episode 19 with Eli Braden

Listen here!

The gang is back and as silly as ever for Episode 19 with Eli Braden (Howard Stern Show).  Eli is many things husband, father, musician, comedian, writer, twittlebrity but most of all he is an amazing podcast guest.  He openly talks about the backlash guitar comics face.  They aren’t accepted by comedians or musicians totally.  Comics think people with guitars are dicks and musicians hate anything funny.  (The Scotty Mouth Podcast loves both equally.)  Eli also explains the hardships he faces as a Twitter celebrity whose fans don’t quite appreciate all his talent.  Of course the show wouldn’t be complete if he and Scott  didn’t give their versions of the final Cherry Pit show.  Amaya and Carl are beautiful as always.  Definitely  an episode to be treasured.  The episode is sponsored by the indie film “Reconciliation” by Scott W. Fitzgerald which is in the final stages of a fundraising drive.  Scott previously owned scottymouth.com and has been a huge supporter of the show.  We are honored to help him in the final hours of fundraising in his project.  Please click the link and contribute we know you guys are awesome.

Here it is Episode 17 with Gian Molina!  Gian is an actor/writer in Los Angeles best known for his commercial work.  He is also known for being one of the best improvisors to grace the stages of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and the IO West.  His improv team Roberto Alomar had one of the most successful runs in the history of the IO West cagematches.  Gian sits down for a conversation with Scott, Carl and Amaya in a very zany episode.  You don’t want to miss Scott telling the story of his Vietnam vet neighbors growing up.  All in all a fun one that fans of the show are sure to love.

Episode 16 with Joe Wagner

Listen here!

Get your creep on in Episode 16 with the hilarious Joe Wagner (The Midnight Show).  Amaya, Carl, Joe and Scott explore creepiness in a weird way.  Scott tells the story of a neighbor dying with glee which only scratches the surface on how creepy the comedy world can get.  Joe has been around the LA Comedy scene for about 20 years now.  In addition to his work directing The Midnight Show he can been seen performing standup all over LA as well as directing several web videos.  Follow him on Twitter @BrotherWags and see just how funny and lovable he truly is.  Possibly the funniest episode yet.  Much love in the room.

Episode 15 with Tess Barker

Listen here!

Tess Barker stops by for episode 15 and the fun shines through from the get go.  Tess tells us about the time her sister found Scott to be a “striking man”.  Carl tells us about his childhood stories getting passed off to his brother in his parents attempt to make him feel cool.  Scott tells the news that his grandma thinks his grandfather is bisexual.  We don’t hold back on this one.  Tess tells us about her dad bringing his gun in a fanny pack to Magic Mountain and everyone thinks that is pretty cool, except Amaya.  Scott also wages war on the American Radio Network, a scam operation in Hollywood that is not with the FCC and needs to be exposed as the fraud it is.  All in all this episode kicks off 2012 strong like we didn’t take a month off for the holidays.  Tess Barker is the coproducer of Beer In The Shower a weekly show at Dreams in the Dunes Motel.  She cowrote the musical “Time Between Us” which appeared in the 2011 New York Musical Theater Festival.

Episode 14 with Josh Cheney

Listen here!

Hey gang we are back!   2012 kicks off with the final episode of 2011 and starts off with one of the funniest ones yet.  Josh Cheney (Tim and Eric Awesome Show) makes it in to record with the crew after a shooting delayed his arrival.  The conversation flies all over the place.  From Gary Busey in Rookie Of The Year to Scott Bakula in Major League: Back To The Minors nothing is off limits.  Amaya asks about how his relationship with another comic affects his work and he ends up telling us the origins of Chicago’s Pizza Festival.  Please excuse us as there are a few technical difficulties but you do not want to miss the the story of the children’s wieners getting taped together.  Scott shares a hilarious childhood story  (brought to you by 3M) that is basically the reason why Laughspin will never nominate The Scotty Mouth Podcast for one of the top new shows of the year.  From celebrity encounters to court shows (nod to Sharon Houston) to hipster parents this is an episode that can’t be missed on sheer funny alone.

Get ready to enter the fun zone.  Who says 13 is an unlucky number?  We were very lucky for Episode 13 to have the brilliant Johnny Pemberton as our guest and he was fantastic.  Johnny shared with us his career arc in entertainment going from his days in a band in Minnesota to his jazz DJ gig at Florida State to getting tackled repeatedly by Ben Stiller for the sake of a Hollywood movie.  In addition to hosting MTV’s Megadrive Johnny has appeared in In The Loop, Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and the upcoming 21 Jump Street movie.  As a standup comic he appeared this summer in the esteemed Montreal Just For Laughs Festival.  Listen to Scott, Amaya and Carl all revel in Johnny’s fun quirks coming out in a can’t miss episode.

Episode 11 with Henry Phillips

Listen here!

We didn’t mean to be total douchebags but Episode 11 was recorded on 11/11/11.  We were blessed to have the amazing Henry Phillips come by and share what it was like for him to grow up on the LA music/comedy scene.  Henry has appeared on his own half hour Comedy Central Presents special in addition to his movie “Punching The Clown”.  His webseries “Henry’s Kitchen” has gained a cult following in the last few months.  Originally born in New Jersey Henry grew up in Southern California and has become one of the top headlining comics on the national scene.  He has four different albums that are available on iTunes.  Check for “Punching The Clown” on Netflix streaming.  Conversation switches from porn, the recording business and as always comedy.  A must listen for all fans of things funny.
